Craniosacral Fascial Therapy

Gillespie Approach Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) is a combination of craniosacral therapy and myofascial therapy. This gentle modality helps release fascial tension throughout the whole body.

Hi! I’m Allyson. I’m an occupational therapist, craniosacral fascial therapy practitioner, and a mom. Our kids are one of the main reasons I decided to take the Gillespie Approach CFT training.

I have many years of experience working with babies through adults as an occupational therapist. I have worked specifically with babies who have plagiocephaly, brachycephaly, and many with torticollis. It’s amazing to see change happen with babies but I always felt a nagging feeling that there’s more that we could be doing to help them thrive.

All of my own children have had oral ties, many breastfeeding issues, and countless tumbles and falls. Learning CFT and being able to work with my kids, as well as many adults and other kids has been a gift. It has been truly amazing to see tension being released and how people’s overall health and well-being has improved.

The fascial system is often overlooked and can be a missing piece to true healing in the body. It’s never too late to start CFT. We have all experienced different types of physical and emotional trauma from the time we were born. Those traumas accumulate in your body, CFT can help them release so your body can heal itself as it was so amazingly designed to do.

I am currently providing CFT for ages 1 year and up. It’s incredibly beneficial for babies and children to receive CFT to help address tension early on so their bodies can grow and develop in an ideal way. It’s never too late to start addressing tension though, even as an adult.

It’s time to start unwinding now.
